Cable Test and Certification

Network applications continue to evolve and the demands for greater bandwidth speeds continue to increase. Keeping pace with these is the necessity to continually update the testing requirements of the network infrastructure  A properly deployed network which has been optimized and tested to industry specifications will offer a reduction in bit errors, increase channel throughput, improve system margins and reduce system down time.

Our cabling systems are installed to meet category 5e and category 6 performance standards. These standards insure that your structured cabling system can accommodate the bandwidth requirements of today's 100Mbs Fast Ethernet as well as tomorrow's faster technologies. All connecting components and hardware are rated to the same category standard. Installation of these components is performed in accordance with the recognized standard Tia 568-A (Telecommunications Industry Association).

Cable Labeling
Each UTP cable, riser cable, optical fiber cable and connecting hardware will be labeled with a mechanical label maker at work area locations as well as at the telecommunications, and equipment rooms. Labeling will conform to EIA/TIA standards. Micro Networks also complies with additional labeling requirements specified by the customer and will provide a clear and concise way of tracking cables, workstation outlets, patch panels, ect.

Cable Certification Report
Micro Networks provides testing and certification services which are fully compliant with leading manufacturers specifications. Cable plants are tested to EIA/TIA parameters as called out in current testing standards. Our cabling testing services are included with each full installation we perform, every c able and connector that we install is tested and a report is provided verifying compliance to the category standard.
